ALPHA 78 MOD FOR 10 METER BAND
Remove the bandswitch knob.
Remove the now visible rotation stop screw.
Replace the bandswitch knob.
Remove the top cover.
Remove the rotational stop setscrews in the collars attached to the
shafts of the variable capacitors C18 and C19 (the TUNE and LOAD caps).
Install doorknob capacitor (use RF Parts p/n 580100-7 (HT50V101).
Replace the top cover.
Maintain at least 3/8" spacing from the body and the leads of
capacitor to other components and wiring. View of drawing is
